Always a Day Late and a Dollar Short
I have come to the sad conclusion that I will not receive an invitation to join Ravelry until they officially go live out of Beta. :-( Which serves me right for deleting off all messages regarding it at first since I had no clue what it was. I REALLY need to prune the number of E-mail lists I'm on. It tends to mean that I delete anything that doesn't sound interesting from the subject line. Which will shoot me in the foot when discussions change and nobody changes the subject line.
Still, I already have a Flickr account, so I can start taking pictures of my stuff and uploading it. And I can still go have fun at Fiber Fest next weekend.

I did hear that there were some issues with Ravelry still, like the fact that they only allow flickr photos (I have my own server), and that they hadn't posted any sort of Terms of Service that officially stated that patterns and projects were the intellectual property of the people posting them. That's a big deal. I'd hate to post a pattern I've written and find out that they "own" it now. So...if we have to wait maybe that's ok.
My guess would be that's an oversight on their part, so we'll see if they correct it once they Go Live.
Less than a week to Fiber Fest. *g*
